1959 Pontiac Bonneville The Bonneville Customer were the prestige offering. They were big, powerful Pontiacs with high level trim and appointments and four-barrel V-8s. Bonnevilles were seat apart by golden scripts on the right-hand grille, rear fins and deck lid four groups of short, horizontal louvers on the projectile-shaped rear fender flares and crest medallions on the deck lid and doors. Regular equipment included all Star Chief features plus padded dashboard, inside door safety reflectors, rear seat foam cushions, dash courtesy lights and padded assist rails for passengers. This 59 Bonneville two-door hard top is stunning. That is certainly not an exaggeration……It’s a descriptive term that comes the closest to describing the overall condition of our Pontiac. The data plate indicates the car was painted in “Magic Mirror“ acrylic lacquer, which appears to be currently the case, and the paint is literally “mirror like”. This was a high dollar restoration of a rust Free 1959 Bonneville with no expense spared, topside, underside, inside, outside, anywhere you look this thing is hard to fault. And awesome power, just an absolute pleasure to drive. 389 with Tri-Power set up, three deuces mated to a GM Hydro Matic transmission, very strong runner. A nice car that's fun to drive with the 455 and 4 speed. It has PHS documentation with window sticker. Sold new in Oakland .CA for a sticker of $4937.75. How things have changed in 50 years.
MECHANICAL- This Trans Am has been thru our inspection. Previous repairs include new starter, battery, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel in 2021. We replaced valve cover gaskets and a wiper arm. The reverse lights do not work.

DIRK'S COMMENTS- With 38 years of experience I will give you my opinion of the Trans Am. It is a fun car to drive with the 455 and 4 speed. It will turn heads with the bright buccaneer red color for sure.
UNDERNEATH- The underneath is solid and has been detailed.
History- A car from Arizona, sold new in California.
TEST DRIVE- We personally test drive our vehicles so we know what they drive like. I have drove this one 50 miles and it drives good. Drove in Phoenix in 90 degree heat and ran cool.
