1985 Chevrolet El Camino SS Chevrolet had offered a factory version of the SS, but it looked just like every other El Camino, so the manufacturer contacted Choo Choo Customs to change that. Choo Choo Customs started with regular El Caminos fitted with rally wheels and sport mirrors and replaced the stock El Camino fascia with a polyurethane nose like the one found on the Monte Carlo SS. Designers slapped decals on the tailgate, doors, and nose and added an emblem to the dash. Do you like restoring classics? This is a nice solid El Camino with a 350 V8 , automatic and a AC car. A good solid body that is mostly complete except heater controls and AC compressor & lines Not a rust free but definitely not a rust bucket as you can see by the pictures that is has minimal rust issues. It will need the interior restored but parts are readily available. A great winter project that will be fun to work on. I have drove the car on the highway around 5 miles so drive as you restore.
