Z06 and the C7.R race car were developed in tandem and share many features and components, including chassis architecture, engine technologies and aerodynamic strategies. With Stingray as a foundation, the Z06 and C7.R were codeveloped to push the envelope of performance beyond expectation.

A supercharged supercar

Z06 is powered by an LT4 supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. With a choice of transmissions as well as Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management™ and Continuously Variable Valve Timing, Z06 brilliantly combines extreme power with efficiency.

SUSPENSION

Z06 features standard Magnetic Ride Control™ that reads the road a thousand times per second, stiffening the suspension for performance driving without sacrificing a smooth ride on any road. Standard eLSD helps improve steering feel, handling balance and traction.

TRANSMISSIONS

Z06 offers the choice of a 7-speed manual or an available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic. The standard 7-speed with Active Rev Matching enhances the driving experience by simulating heel-toe shifting perfection.
